I am thinking of all the rains that goes waste on the roads and to the drainage.May be t is not a waste at all? You got me confused, now.

Sometimes the high raises were built on the lake bed , and the builder is kind enough to get their own water source, to compensate. It is all tinkering with available resources, to satisfy our immediate needs, without giving any thought about larges issues.Vetirmagalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01881952063893739315noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11025833.post-31201872962869846052012-08-21T21:29:54.484+05:302012-08-21T21:29:54.484+05:30I agree with rainwater harvesting. But on the flip...I agree with rainwater harvesting. But on the flip side, this is akin to creating many micro dams in a city where lakes used to get so much of the rainwater. I've seen many rejuvenated lakes in bangalore dying simply because:
1- Not enough rain.
2- Not enough rain water flowing into the lakes because the apartment complexes/houses surrounding them have RWH installed.
Good post, nonethelessNavin Mathewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07511402740571123013noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11025833.post-65213741604831238672012-08-14T14:05:43.198+05:302012-08-14T14:05:43.198+05:30Thanks Raj. It sounds very honest, and the interest for rain water harvesting also made me publicize it in my own way:-)Vetirmagalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01881952063893739315noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11025833.post-57454130214715480482012-08-14T10:22:21.971+05:302012-08-14T10:22:21.971+05:30This is such an important post. Every state should take her help in this implementation:-)

This film that I wrote about has normal common people living in that catchment area near Bangalore, talking about the problems in a wise voice.Vetirmagalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01881952063893739315noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11025833.post-79500263578690623382012-08-13T11:53:03.070+05:302012-08-13T11:53:03.070+05:30Thanks Sabyasachi.
