Under A Dangerous Motto | Pushpa Iyengar
It is so rare , one comes across honest IAS offciials. I felt like sharing it with my blog friends. This is old story, he might have moved on, but at the way in which Alex Paul Menon , another IAS, is on the news, this story is worth circulating.
Kudos to those like him for it is due to such people that we can still call ourselves a civilized country. They deserve to be awarded if not rewarded by the people they serve.
ReplyDeleteHi zephyr, so nice to see your comments.Thanks.
ReplyDeleteHow refreshing to come across stories like that, it replenishes our confidence in the human race.
ReplyDeletevery inspiring story.
ReplyDeletewe might say this is something which he and others are supposed to do but then it's not an easy task for people like him considering the system under which they have to work and danger of offending powerful people.

ReplyDeleteHi Debajyothi,
ReplyDeleteI was away on vacation and missed the comments.
Yes, it is difficult for people like him.
But my thought is , if all like minded young people think like him and act, wont that change so many things?. It just might.
We have now come very far away from what people in power are expected to do. If they do their duty, we are looking to encourage it :-)
